Web Wednesday, the monthly event held in both Hong Kong and Singapore for those working or interested in the online space touched down in Guangzhou on 16th July 2008. The event, organised by Lonnie B. Hodge of Culture Fish Media featured Web Wednesday Hong Kong founder/organiser Napoleon Biggs of Palava Digital and Kay Bayliss of the Asia Digital Marketing Association.
The event was an overall success despite being the first of its kind in Guangzhou and the main form of communication/planning for the event, Facebook, had been blocked on and off in China during the proceeding couple of weeks. I recorded this first event which you can see embeded below. My apologies that it was a little dark and noisy, but you should still get the gist of the event. After the main talks featured in this video, the event went on to mingling and networking, so it's an event worth attending by anyone in the industry. Visit our Facebook group for more information.
